Information is available for all current 27 EU member states and comes from a system of reliable data sources.

The data is updated periodically, the timing of updates may depend on the individual country.

The cost of a single request is €0.02.

In the Usage section on the API level, you can monitor your free and subscription or top-up requests. They are available both graphically (period month and year) and with a textual summary.

Enterprise offers a much larger dataset of information than European VAT, but only on Italian companies.

European VAT gives access to information on all European companies, but only on VAT verification and name and registered office data.

Data is available for all current 27 EU member states.

The information available is:

• VAT number validity check / VAT registration number
• company name
• registered office

Some information, such as registered office, may not be available for some European countries because individual national institutions may not have made that information available.

For all European companies that have a VAT/VAT number.

The service returns the answer in real time.

The parameters required to make a request to the European VAT API are:

• Company Country Code (Country Code)
• VAT (VAT Number)
