DocuEngine provides access to a wide range of documents, including company profiles (also in English), financial statements in optical, XBRL, and reclassified formats, articles of association, and over 23 types of optical records.
All data and documents are sourced exclusively from certified sources, such as the Business Registers of various countries, Social Security Institutions, and Revenue Agencies, ensuring maximum reliability and security.
The time required to process a request depends on the type of document requested. Thanks to an optimized system, most requests are completed within minutes. However, more complex documents, such as company profiles or detailed reports, may require slightly longer. DocuEngine is designed to simplify processes and ensure high operational efficiency.
To determine the cost and parameters, you need to send a request to the GET /documents endpoint. This returns a list of all available documents, including their prices and required parameters.
The "validation" field in the response specifies the mandatory data needed to complete the request successfully. In some cases, a combination of different data can be used to request the same document (e.g., Company Certificate).
DocuEngine uses five primary statuses:
- NEW: The request has been initialized.
- SEARCH: The request is in active search mode, e.g., obtaining a financial statement or other specific document, requiring a selection (e.g., a financial year or type of record).
- WAIT: Indicates that no further user action or choices are required, and the request is being processed.
- DONE: The request has been successfully completed, and the document is available.
- CANCELLED: The request has been canceled by the user or system (e.g., when no results are found, the system automatically switches to this status).
All requests are handled asynchronously, and processing times depend on the type of product.
DocuEngine introduces a more practical and intuitive system for accessing documents compared to traditional methods:
- Result format: Documents are no longer provided as zip files but as an array containing the files in their original formats, ready for use.
- Access via link: Each document is accessible through a dedicated link. For security reasons, the link is valid for 24 hours. However, the document remains available, and the link can be regenerated at any time.
- Email notifications (NOTIFYEMAIL): An email notification is automatically sent as soon as the request reaches the "DONE" status, allowing you to quickly access the completed document.

- Security and convenience: Documents are accessible via a link valid for 24 hours to ensure security. If expired, the link can be easily regenerated.
- NOTIFY Email: You'll receive an email notification when the document is ready, reducing wait times.
